One important issues to keep in mind is that there is a high probability that your new job will be located in Portland, Oregon.  There are a lot of positions available in Vancouver but because of its size Portland is going to offer a larger selection.  Every day over 60% of Clark County residents make the commute across the Columbia River to go to work.

City of Vancouver:  A direct link to all open positions with the City of Vancouver, Washington.

Craig’s List Portland:  This is a free site for job seekers.  It is a popular job posting site in the Vancouver/Portland area.

JobDango:  A Portland based company that assists job seekers.  They will help search and sort through job opportunities in the Pacific Northwest.

Multnomah County Library Job Resources:  Links to job databases, government job listings, and library materials specifically for job seekers.

Monster:  This is a popular site used by many of the Hi-Tech companies in the local area.

The Oregonian Classifieds :The Sunday edition of the Oregonian has an excellent employment section.  You can purchase the paper or access the information on line.

Portland Recruiter :  Another free job site that allows users to search for jobs, or post their resumes, for positions in the Vancouver/Portland area.

Volt Technical Services:  This is a Temporary agency that specializes in Engineers, Programmers, HR, and other Hi-Tech positions.  They are contracted with many of the larger employers in the area and it would be well worth your time to send them your resume.
