banks in the area. Activities will show you historical sites,
youth and professional sports, hiking trails, information on the
Columbia Gorge and much more.
Moving is a major
life change and there are many details that must be taken into
consideration. Regardless of your reasons for relocating, be it
retirement, employment or you just love the city as much as we do,
you will not be alone. We are the experts on Vancouver and
whatever you want or need to know all you have to do is ask us!
We are here for you and will do our absolute best to ensure that
this move is the smoothest you have ever made.

One of the first things you will learn about
your new community is how close to Portland, Oregon you are.
In fact, the two cities are so close many people that live in Washington work
in Oregon, which is only a short trip across the Columbia river.
There are many reasons that people choose to
live in Vancouver and commute to Portland. A few of the
reasons include livability. We don't have the over crowding that you
experience in a major city and we still have the "hometown" feeling
while offering all the perks of being next door to Portland.
You may find that property is not as expensive as it is in a large
city and your dollar will go further towards purchasing your home.
Washington also does not have a State income tax which makes living
here very attractive to many people.
There are two main arterials that lead into
Vancouver from Portland,
Interstate 205, which goes to the east side, and I-5, which goes to
the west side. This will become important to you because this
may dictate which side of the city you choose to live.
Clark County includes Vancouver, which is
divided into four sections and smaller outlaying cities. The
outlaying cities include Camas, which is east of
Vancouver,
Battle Ground and Yacolt, which are northeast of Vancouver,
La Center,
Ridgefield and
Woodland, which are north and
Washougal which is next to Camas.
Camas and Washougal are so close they are considered sister cities. If you are not
familiar with the areas I would recommend that you spend some time
exploring them all. It will be worth the time because each has
a different appeal and offers diverse amenities.
No matter where you choose to live you will be
close to the Pacific Ocean, volcanic mountains, and the high desert.
The Northwest is one of those magical regions of the United States
that offers its residents a bit of it all.
So take you time exploring the site and
learning about your new community. And remember that if you
can't find the information you are looking for on the site all you
have to do is contact me and I will find it for you.
